Adriana Gerasimova is a young art director from Bulgaria. I asked her some questions about her style and makeup art…Here are her answers!
You professionaly deel with style and makeup. Could you describe us the main features of your job?
I’ve always had interest in the fashion world itself - as it is a huge social manipulator. The relation
between our inner world and the way we hide or express it throught the fashion language.
First i studied Fine arts, than graduaded BA and MA in Fashion design here in Bulgaria, i guess a
normall continuing of my observation had to concern also the styling. For me it is the sellection of
my statement for the day - the right slogan is the right garment. At the end there stays the make up.
The look of the eyes and the face reveals about 80 % of our mood, our statement. So for me it stays on
top of the cake. The cherry could be sour,could be sweet:) It is my job to express what i feel. I’ve always
loved drawing, sketching….modeling the forms so only the media changed for me. I started painting on
faces, but most of all revealing or hiding statements.
Who and what influences your personal style?
Everything and anything. I’m kind of moody so the things are related. Colud be a single reply, a problem or title, could be an object, a frame,
a book, a movie, music, nature.. but most of all the Human itself.

In your opinion what makes the perfect outfit, the clothes or the person wearing the clothes?
100% behind the prefect outfit, stays the wearing of it by the right person.
Do you have some favourite brands?
Lets say that the favourite ones range like my feelings. I have a few that i admire and few which make me feel comfort in my skin

What is the makeup product you can’t live without?
My mascara, and my lip gloss.They put me on a high heels:)
What can’t miss in every girl’s wardrobe?
The simple Black cotail dress, it should be as practic as also exscentric. I normally wear it with a pair of adidas or boots. A black leather jacket. Variety of Jeans and tops. And a lottttttttt of accessories.
And in the make-up bag?
Whatever you feel like. Less in many cases means more.
How do you choose your dresses and accessories?
Easy. Or i love them from the first side or it just doesn’t work with me!
For sure i make a lot of compromises with the accessories and the only reason is that they are as flexible as my mood.
How to create the perfect match?
Depends only on your inner voice. Don’t necessarily follow the ” trend scream”.
